안 쓰는 것이 또 없나요?

A wife arriving home from a shopping trip was horrified to find her husband in bed with a lovely young thing. Just as she was about to storm out of the house, her husband stopped her with these words:

  "Before you leave, I want you to hear how this all came about. Driving along the highway, I saw this young girl looking tired and bedraggled so I brought her home and made her a meal from the roast beef you had forgotten in the refrigerator. She had only some worn sandals on her feet so I gave her a pair of good shoes you had discarded because they had gone out of style. She was cold so I gave her the sweater I bought you for your birthday, but you never wore because the colors didn't suit you. Her slacks were worn out so I gave her a pair of yours that were perfectly good but too small for you now. Then as she was about to leave the house, she paused and asked, "Is there anything else your wife doesn't use anymore".

  쇼핑을 마치고 돌아온 아내는 자기 남편이 젊은 여자와 침대에 있는 것을 발견하고 놀랐다. 아내가 막 뛰쳐나가려는데, 남편이 그녀를 붙잡고 이야기를 늘어놓았다.

  “당신이 떠나기 전에 어떻게 이런 일이 일어났는지 들어 보세요. 고속도로를 운전하면서 이 젊은 아가씨가 지치고 지저분해 보여서 그녀를 집으로 데리고 와서 냉장고에 넣어 둔 뒤 잊어버린 구운 소고기로 음식을 만들어 주었소. 그녀가 낡은 신발을 신고 있어서 유행이 지나버려 당신이 신지 않는 좋은 신발을 주었소. 너무나 추워서, 생일 선물로 당신에게 주었으나 색깔이 어울리지 않아 입지 않은 스웨터를 그녀에게 주었소. 그녀의 바지가 낡아서 좋지만 작은 바지를 그녀에게 주었소. 그랬더니 그녀가 집을 나가려다 나에게 다음과 같이 묻더이다. ”당신의 아내가 안 쓰는 다른 것이 또 있나요?“
