교수님, 제 이름을 아시나요?

One day a student was taking a very difficult essay exam. At the end of the test, the prof asked all the students to put their pencils down and immediately hand in their tests.

어느날 학생이 아주 어려운 엣세이 시험을 치르고 있었다. 시험이 끝날 무렵, 교수는 학생들에게 연필을 놓고 답안을 즉시 제출하라고 했다.

The young man kept writing furioulsy, although he was warned that if he did not stop immediately he would be disqualified. He ignored the warning, finished the test 10 minutes later, and went to hand the test to his instructor. The instructor told him he would not take the test.

즉시 그만두지 않으면 자격을 박탈하겠다고 경고를 했으나, 한 젊은이가 열심히 쓰고 있었다. 경고를 무시고, 10분 뒤에 시험을 마치고 나서, 답안을 교수/강사에게 가지고 갔다. 교수는 답안을 가져 가지 않겠다고 말했다.

The student asked, "Do you know who I am?"
학생이 자기 이름을 아느냐고 교수에게 물었다.

The prof said, "No and I don't care."
교수는 관심 없다고 말했다.

The student asked again, "Are you sure you don't know who I am?"
학생은 다시 자기 이름을 모르는게 확실한지 물었다.

The prof again said no. So the student walked over to the pile of tests, placed his in
the middle, then threw the papers in the air.
교수는 모른다고 다시 대답했다. 학생은 시험지 뭉치가 있는 곳으로 가서 자기 답안지를 가운데 집어 넣고 나서 답안지를 공중에 던져 버렸다.

"Good" the student said, and walked out. He passed.
학생은 좋다고 말하면서 나갔다. (물론) 합격했다.
